Cllr David Locke

David has lived in Stoke Bruerne since 2020 and moved here because of the family’s enthusiasm for the waterways in general and this beautiful village in particular, having stopped here many times on boating holidays over the past 25 years.

David and his wife both qualified as Chartered Accountants.  They have two grown-up sons and a grand-daughter.

David says “We’ve made more good friends since we’ve lived in Stoke Bruerne than we did in over 25 years where we lived previously.”

 He continues “ I have no shame whatsoever when it comes to asking  organisations for cash to support the village.”
